Another Idea I have is two models using carmex. The shots I would use is a : Medium Close Up Extreme Close Up Establishing Shot

Induction: Self Analysis of moving image advert.

Image
This advert is a Nike advert which has been produced very well, the advert itself is about a new football boot being released. This advert is really effective to the viewer/audience because of its many techniques, one would be the editing, the editing in the advert has been made to perfection and has been taken time into it. In post-production they use editing to change the normal players on the field to actual footballers, e.g. Ronaldo, Neymar and Rooney. They do this because they want to show the audience what famous footballers wear Nike, and the purpose of this is to send a direct message to the audience which mean that the audience should buy Nike because of these famous footballers, this is a very good persuasive way to make the audience buy the product. They would tend to aim this advert at young teenagers due to the fact that many inspire to be like some of these famous footballers. The meaning behind this would almost mean, ‘if they buy the new Nike football boot it would he...

Induction: Self-Analysis

Image
Denotation and Connotation. Denotation: Shot Type, Angle, Composition, Point of Focus, Lighting. Composition refers of a finished media products refers to overall layout and how all of the elements come together. This McDonalds advert shows the viewer what it’s meant to mean and what it connotes, as seen on the image the shot type is a medium shot which is generally used in a lot of print adverts, this is used because medium close up shots generally always show what a clear image of what its actual product is and what its meant to mean. Medium shots are used for dialogue sequences. I know that this image has also been Photoshop during post production because they have made the fries look like party horns which is really good and effective to the viewer/audience. This connotes that McDonalds is celebrating an anniversary or some type of celebration. I know this because of the slogan they have used ‘Celebrating 60 Golden Years’ this show and tells the audience that this adv...

Induction; Coke Zero Analysis

Image
Denotation and Connotation. Denotation: Shot Type, Angle, Composition, Point of Focus, Lighting, ·         Composition refers of a finished media products refers to overall layout and how all of the elements come together Mise en Scene: Props, Location, Costume, Logo and Slogan. Analysis of Coca Cola advert: This coca cola advert has a very effective way to make the audience want to buy the product, they do this through many ways. One being the stylistic codes, these are: Colour, Framing and angle, Movement, Composition or navigation, Mise en scene, Editing of moving image, Sound. However this is a still image so some wouldn’t apply. One that is really effective is the Mise en scene, as seen on the Image there is a lot of dark and plain colours however red stands out the most being the coke logo, this is effective because it draws the viewer/audience’s attention to the logo which is placed on the top left side of the advert and then towards the coke b...

Induction: Advertising: Persuasive methods

Image
Humor: Humor is the tendency of experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. In this advert Humour is used because as seen on the ad, there are babies miming the adult as they dance on the mirror, and the creator of this advert purposely made the babies look like the adult, also the non diegetic sounds which would be the babies and the music correlate together to make it funny.    Emotional appeal: This advert is an Emotional advert because as seen the dog is made to be part of the family, however once the girl has a boyfriend the dog is almost to not known and is not getting as much attention, however as soon as the car comes into the ad everything changes to back how it was and the dog is part of the family again. The purpose of this is to show that the car makes family happier and together.
