Humor:
Humor is the tendency of experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. In this advert Humour is used because as seen on the ad, there are babies miming the adult as they dance on the mirror, and the creator of this advert purposely made the babies look like the adult, also the non diegetic sounds which would be the babies and the music correlate together to make it funny.
Emotional appeal:
This advert is an Emotional advert because as seen the dog is made to be part of the family, however once the girl has a boyfriend the dog is almost to not known and is not getting as much attention, however as soon as the car comes into the ad everything changes to back how it was and the dog is part of the family again. The purpose of this is to show that the car makes family happier and together.
This advert is a bandwagon advert because as seen in the advert its snowing and there a athletes running and doing active things in the snow and this directly shows the viewer that the equipment and footwear of nike is durable in all conditions, and the purpose of this is to get viewers and the audience to buy nike and join the bandwagon and have shoes that is durable in all weathers. The actual message behind this would be 'If you don't have nike you wont be able to survive in all conditions.
Punishment / fear:
This advert is punishment and fear, i can see this because in this advert they use the little child as the main person and use him to say, if the adult was to carry on smoking the little child would always feel that way, and the punishment and fear in this would be that the adult should be scared about the risk of their life and their child and stop smoking.
In this advert, it shows people winning the lottery. The producer of this uses people as a good way to influence other viewers to buy this lottery and give them 'hope' that they will win one day.
Experts:
In this advert, shows a expert in washing that uses vanish and showing the audience what its like to use other products other than vanish and then compares each and shows that vanish is better. This has an effect on the audience to say they should buy vanish for tough stains because of the results of vanish.
Testimonial:
This testimonial ad shows me that women from the public are trying out doves new product and they give their honest opinion, this has an effective effect on the viewer because it makes the audience think that random people are giving honest opinions and so they should trust them, however what they don't know is that people are being paid.

This advert, is full of repetition, and the whole purpose of this is to get it in the audiences head, another reason is for them to remember what brand/company to get to when they need help or need something for their head.
