What type of photography i want to do?

In the Studio i would like to do fashion photography, Fashion photography is a genre of photography which is devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items. The lighting i would use is artificial this is because the photos will be taken indoors and no natural light will be available.

The two main lighting setups i will use are: 

split-lighting-pattern1.jpgSplit Lighting- Split lighting is exactly as the name implies – it splits the face exactly into equal halves with one side being in the light, and the other in shadow. It is often used to create dramatic images for things such as a portrait of a musician or an artist. Split lighting tends to be a more masculine pattern and as such is usually more appropriate or applicable on men than it is for women.


Image result for loop lighting examplesLoop Lighting- Loop lighting is made by creating a small shadow of the subjects noses on their cheeks. To create loop lighting, the light source must be slightly higher than eye level and about 30-45 degrees from the camera (depends on the person, you have to learn how to read people’s faces).

Mise en scene/ Black Panther.

The opening scene we are analysing is called Black Panther. The Genre is   Action , adventure  ,  science fiction  and  Fantasy  . For example the background which can be known as an  establishing  shot  is called a  CGI   , they use computer graphics to generate a believable location , for example the waterfalls aren't actually there , they implicate them in to go alongside with the genre and setting of the film . In black panther there is particularly a lot of action being shown , most camera angles are being shot from a low angle which could symbolise each character has a particular moment of power. They may feel inferior to one another . High Key Photography Studio.

Infinity Lightning- This forms High key lighting. (Very bright, not much shadow) The two lighting to light the backdrop, they need to be on the highest setting/power. Reflector board goes in front of the two lights that lights up the backdrop. When taking an image, have the model in front of the backdrop lights, and then set the model lights up.  If you get an image from google, must have a good resolution,  Macbook User: Scott MacBook Password: nikonmaster  Projection Photography Use projector to change backdrop or on model Can put the projector anywhere e.g the floor or behind the model etc. Use continues lighting If you use an image from google make sire it has a good resolution The closer the smaller the image gets.
